Have you ever experienced NOT finding your luggage at Baggage Claim? Anger and anxiety set it. You ask yourself, “NOW what?!” or “Why me? or “Why now?”. You had plans. You knew exactly what and how things were supposed to happen. This was not one of the things that was supposed to happen.
Unexpected events in life can leave us feeling as merely a passenger in our own life. Unlike the times when we treat life like a spectator sport, these moments can leave us feeling out of control. We can sometimes end up feeling like our actions do not matter, like nothing we do matters or, worse yet, like we do not matter.
Be NOT just the change you want to see but the change YOU Want to Be. Aim to make a change, however subtle it may be, towards making your life a little better.

In the spirit of sharing, I am excited to share with you something I hope you will share and enjoy with others. Sharing one’s time and presence over a meal with family or friends is a wonderful way to share of oneself. Taking part in sharing traditional family meals or simply catching up with friends over coffee while exchanging stories about life events over conversation can be one of the best gifts we can give to one another. My favorite dessert to share with friends is arroz con leche, rice pudding.
